Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a WABO Certified Ironworker to join our growing team in Yakima, Washington. The ideal candidate has current Washington Association of Building Officials (WABO) structural welding certification and experience in structural steel erection and welding.
Responsibilities
- Structural steel erection and installation
- Perform structural welding in accordance with AWS D1.1
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Rigging, connecting, bolting, and decking
- Operate lifts and jobsite equipment safely
- Maintain safety standards and follow OSHA guidelines
Requirements
- Current WABO Structural Welding Certification (D1.1 preferred)
- Experience with stick (SMAW) and/or flux-core (FCAW)
- Ability to work at heights
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and team mindset
