Overview
The FT Manufacturing/In-Shop Fabricator position involves cutting and fabricating aluminum, operating various shop tools, and ensuring product accuracy through quality checks. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Experience cutting and fabricating aluminum.
- Drilling, deburring, and cleaning parts before and after fabrication.
- Familiarity with Bridgeport or other milling machines and drill presses.
- Experience with various shop tools and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and manufacturing details.
- Perform quality checks to ensure product accuracy.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and load/unload the company truck.
- Responsible for local drop-offs and pick-ups.
- Prioritize maintenance and safety by maintaining equipment and keeping the workspace clean.
- Must be detail-oriented with precise cutting skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3+ years of experience.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
