Overview

Turnstone Construction is a specialty concrete and water feature contractor based in Redmond, WA, with a focus on residential, commercial, and public projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. They are currently hiring for two positions: Rock Carver/Concrete Artisan and Laborer/Pipefitter.

Responsibilities

• Transform concrete into simulations of natural rock for the Rock Carver position.
• Perform water feature plumbing and pipe installation for the Laborer/Pipefitter position.
• Execute concrete formwork and finishing.
• Conduct rebar, dirt work, and shotcrete.

Requirements

• Experience in concrete carving, sculpting, or artificial rockwork for the Rock Carver position.
• Strong eye for natural texture, form, and color for the Rock Carver position.
• Familiarity with concrete mixes, shotcrete, and finishing techniques for the Rock Carver position.
• Construction site experience and ability to work with a crew for the Rock Carver position.
• Portfolio or photos of past work strongly preferred for the Rock Carver position.
• Pipefitting, plumbing, or irrigation experience strongly preferred for the Laborer/Pipefitter position.
• At least 1 year of construction experience for the Laborer/Pipefitter position.
• Valid driver's license for the Laborer/Pipefitter position.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn for the Laborer/Pipefitter position.
