Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sign Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding custom signs according to client specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble various types of signs including channel letters, light boxes, pylons, and more.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on aluminum, steel, and other metals.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to achieve project goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sign Fabricator/Welder or similar role.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding is a plus.
• 3+ years experience in a Sign Shop environment.
• Experience with an automatic channel letter bending machine.
• Able to learn new techniques fast.
• Experience in work with hands and a good understanding of measuring and cutting material to exact job specifications.
• Experience with applying graphics to substrates with high attention to detail.
• Ability to mount interior and exterior signage to wall surfaces or substrates.
• Ability to work with many different print and signage materials and substrates.
• Responsible approach and great teamwork.
