Job Description

Overview

Sandcraft Motorsports is dedicated to enhancing off-road experiences through innovative manufacturing and high-quality products. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Driveline Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team, responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling driveline components for UTVs and off-road vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and <LOCATION> welding on driveline parts using blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Read and interpret detailed schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment.
  • Measure parts accurately with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
  • Conduct pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, and assembly of mechanical components.
  • Operate forklifts, rigging equipment, and other machinery safely.
  • Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of fabrication environments.
  • Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding, and plasma cutting techniques.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, soldering tools, and press brake machines.
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading for sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to driveline components such as carrier bearings and axles.
  • Experience with rigging procedures for component installation or movement.
  • Familiarity with ASME codes & standards applicable to metal fabrication and welding practices.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during assembly processes.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including pipe threading, machining, soldering, and schematics interpretation.
