Overview

Fire Truck Solutions is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. This position involves metal fabrication, welding, repair, and modification work on heavy-duty trucks and specialty equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding and metal fabrication on steel and aluminum components
• Repair and modify truck bodies, equipment mounts, compartments, and structural components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, torches, and plasma cutters
• Assist with custom builds and upfit projects
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Work closely with technicians and shop leadership to complete projects on schedule

Requirements

• Previous welding/fabrication experience required
• Experience with heavy trucks, equipment, or commercial vehicles preferred
• Ability to read tape measures and fabrication drawings
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a shop environment
• Valid driver’s license required
• CDL is a plus, but not required
