Overview

A work-truck upfitting shop in Phoenix is seeking a Welder/Install Technician with experience in MIG welding and 12V wiring to install equipment on service bodies, flatbeds, and dump bodies, ensuring trucks leave the shop work ready.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld brackets, mounts, and components used in truck builds.
• Install and secure lighting and handle 12-volt wiring.
• Install liftgates, ladder racks, storage equipment, and other work-truck add-ons.
• Assist with installs like hydraulic cranes and air compressors depending on the build.
• Use hand and power tools to fit, mount, and finish equipment on trucks and trailers.
• Read diagrams/prints and follow build instructions.
• Keep your area clean, safe, and production-ready.
• Work with the crew to keep projects moving.

Requirements

• 3+ years hands-on welding, fabrication, and install experience in the automotive industry.
• 3+ years experience with 12V wiring and lighting installs.
• Solid with shop tools and fast-paced work.
• Able to read basic install diagrams and instructions.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Good communication and team mindset.

Additional Information

• Full-Time position.
• Work schedule is Monday to Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
• Work location is in person.
