Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pipe Welder with GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) experience to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating pipe systems, ensuring all work meets strict safety standards and quality specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform GMAW welding on various pipe materials, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes.
• Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate cuts and welds.
• Fabricate pipe sections, sheet metal components, and assemblies following ASME codes & standards.
• Set up and adjust the Mig welding parameters and maintain tools such as grinders, torches and welding guns.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of technical school is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of pipe welding experience.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding weld symbols.
• Attention to detail for creating leak-proof, high pressure welds.
• Successful completion of an internal welding test.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Demonstrated expertise in MIG, TIG, FCAW, and GMAW welding techniques.
• Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and layout work.
