Overview

We are seeking skilled and motivated Production Welders to join our metal manufacturing team. This role focuses on assembling and welding roof trusses using angle iron and tubular steel components.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare welding tables for truss assembly
• Read and interpret simple blueprints and layout specifications
• Measure, cut, and position angle iron and tubular components
• Perform MIG welding to assemble roof trusses according to specifications
• Work collaboratively with a teammate to complete truss builds efficiently
• Inspect finished welds to ensure structural integrity and quality standards

Requirements

• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Prior experience with MIG welding (production welding preferred)
• Ability to read and follow basic blueprints or shop drawings
• Experience working with metal fabrication, angle iron, or tubular steel is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment
• Physically capable of lifting and handling large welded assemblies
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Previous experience in truss manufacturing or structural welding
• Familiarity with production-based or piece-rate work environments
