Overview

Stark Products, a leading manufacturer of custom-designed Lobster Tanks and Advanced Seafood Display Cases, is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for a challenging position supporting the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with minimum supervision.
• Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Set up and operate fabrication and welding equipment safely.
• Work with or without fixtures while ensuring parts are held in position to avoid distortion.
• Report defective materials, unusual conditions, errors, or operational difficulties to the supervisor.
• Assist with delivery and installation of seafood cases.

Requirements

• 4 years’ experience welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand layouts.
• Proficient in set-up and operations of fabrication equipment such as Shears, Press Brake, Angle Rolls, Plate Rolls, Iron Worker, and Saws.
• Strong understanding of Tig Welding.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, and sanders.
• Knowledge of welding machine operation, regulating current, and voltage for proper fusion of metals.
