Overview
AMC Metal Works performs fabrication and installation of miscellaneous/structural steel. We are looking for a motivated, positive mindset worker that wants to be a part of a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
- Part lay out, mock up, from drawings
- Competent in problem solving and self performing tasks
- Fabricate and weld Steel Items, mig/stick
- Operate power tools, including but not limited to saws, grinders, and drills
- Utilize forklift for material handling when required
Requirements
- Basic understanding of welding & fabrication
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, assembly drawings, etc.
- Ability to work independently & in a team environment
- Must have good hand-eye coordination and the ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand for extended periods of time, climb ladders, work from heights and lift up to 50+ pounds multiple times per day
