Overview

United Concrete Products Inc. is a leader in producing over 250 stock items and custom precast concrete solutions for customers. They are seeking a Fabricator to join their fabrication department in Wallingford, CT, responsible for creating, modifying, and repairing steel molds for precast concrete products.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints to determine project requirements and specifications
• Fabricate steel to create molds that will hold concrete to create custom or stock items
• Set up and operate fabrication and welding equipment
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion

Requirements

• 3+ years of MIG welding and fabrication (required)
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Knowledge of measuring tools and product tolerances
• Attention to detail
• Reliable transportation

Additional Information

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00 am-4:30 pm, Saturday 6:00 am-12:00 pm with overtime as needed
