Responsibilities

• Perform MIG Welding for Production by welding forms and structural components using various wire types.
• Fabricate standard and special forms using laser-etched guidelines or tab-and-slot features.
• Work with weld fixtures and handling equipment to complete precise fabrication tasks.
• Verify weld quality and dimensions using measuring tools and participate in quality audits.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and assist with the repair of returned forms.
• Report labor through work orders and Kronos accurately and timely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Pass EFCO’s weld test.
• Experience with aluminum, high tensile, and flux-core wire.
• Familiarity with measuring tools down to 1/64 inch.
