Overview

The Service Mechanic - Welder position involves diagnosing, repairing, welding, and fabricating at the service facility, reporting to the Dealership Manager. The role requires adherence to safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding to ASME code standards.
• Diagnose structural and operational problems.
• Remove and re-install parts and systems.
• Fabricate support braces and brackets.
• Pressure test units for DOT compliance.
• Order and replace failing parts.

Requirements

• Able to certify with MIG/TIG welding on Aluminum and Stainless steel.
• Capable of performing confined space welding.
• Working knowledge of Tanker Trucks.
• Able to diagnose and repair leaking tanks.
• Able to apply appropriate welding techniques.
• Must pass DOL requirements for heavy work physical capacity.

Additional Information

• Job holder must provide their own work hand tools.
• Candidates must pass a pre-employment physical and drug-screen.
