Overview

Fab Tec Inc. is looking to hire a full time experienced and dependable fabricator/welder to join their team, which produces portable aggregate and mining processing machinery.

Responsibilities

• Welding and fabricating various parts and pieces.
• Operate forklift, overhead cranes, and mobile cranes.
• Use shop tools such as wire feed welder, grinders, band saws, plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches, and various hand tools.
• Keep work environment clean, safe and orderly.
• Communicate to management about machinery and quality issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Possess a keen sense of attention to detail.
• Must be able to work 40+ hours per week (Monday-Friday).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in steel fabrication and/or welding preferred.
• Must follow written and verbal details to complete assignments.
• Must be able to do shop math proficiently.
• Able to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Able to stand, sit, stoop, crawl and work in various positions throughout the work day.
