Overview

We are seeking a motivated Welder / Shop Technician at our branch in Caldwell, Idaho. Fairbank is a leading supplier of Agriculture and Propane parts and equipment, with 14 locations throughout the Midwest and Northwest.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands on physical labor in the day-to-day activities of the shop
• Perform hands on experience with welding and light mechanics
• Diagnose and repair agricultural spray pumps
• Plumb propane dispenser cabinets
• Occasionally deliver equipment (Class A CDL)

Requirements

• Previous Forklift operations preferred
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, multi-task, organize and prioritize work
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 40 plus lbs safely and easily
• Ability to maintain / promote safety awareness and follow safety policies
• Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance
• High School degree or GED required
