Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our upfitting team, responsible for customizing medium and heavy-duty truck chassis with various truck beds and aftermarket equipment, including installation and replacement of truck beds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install equipment onto truck chassis according to specifications.
• Modify and fabricate truck components as necessary to meet client requirements.
• Read and understand manufacturer diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to minimize waste and mistakes.
• Collaborate with team members to develop innovative solutions on builds.
• Focus on high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all installations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• One year of automotive or commercial truck mechanical experience.
• Proficient welding skills, primarily MIG and Flux core on mild steel, occasionally stainless steel or aluminum.
• Wiring and 12V electrical knowledge.
• Understanding of hydraulics systems fabrication.
