Overview

The Welder position involves welding ferrous and non-ferrous metals using processes such as GMAW or Resistance Spot Welding. The role requires setting up and maintaining welding equipment, including robotic welding systems, and ensuring quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Weld ferrous and non-ferrous metals using GMAW or Resistance Spot Welding processes.
• Set up welding machines and perform preventive maintenance.
• Load parts into fixtures for welding.
• Fabricate new metal components according to product data sheets.
• Maintain tools and equipment to a professional standard.
• Execute welds professionally and inspect work pieces for defects.
• Notify manager of inventory needs.
• Grind welds as required.

Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma.
• Passage of Drug Test.
• Passage of Physical Agility Test.
• Passage of a hands-on preemployment weld test.
• Stable work history.
• Two years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret simple assembly instructions and drawings.
• Ability to work in a team environment with effective interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of Quality and its impact in a production environment.
