Overview

A Structural Welding Working Leaderman is responsible for leading his/her craft in the successful implementation of production activities related to shipbuilding and/or repair functions, in addition to performing craft specific operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead craft in production activities related to shipbuilding and repair.
• Perform craft specific operations.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with other supervisors.
• Focus on quality, production, safety, and environmental aspects of work.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of craft-specific experience performing structural welding functions.
• Ability to interpret standard construction drawings.
• Basic knowledge of Structural Fitting specific processes and techniques.
