Overview
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Welder at their site in Worcester, MA. The role involves performing and setting up moderate to complex MIG/TIG and welding operations while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform and set up moderate to complex MIG/TIG and welding operations.
- Join surfaces or fabricate or repair metal structures or materials using various welding processes.
- Check completed parts for compliance with Worcester Plant Quality standards.
- Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary.
- Adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations.
- Assist team in achieving plant and department goals.
- Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement.
- Foster an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals and encourages teamwork.
- Utilize basic computer knowledge of Windows based operating systems.
- Use measuring tape and variable gauges, such as calipers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
- An apprenticeship or equivalent training experience.
- Welding Certification.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- 1-3 years weld experience in light to medium industrial manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of basic shop math and welding symbols.
- Ability to read and understand formal, informal drawings, and/or engineering drawings.

Additional Information
- Core hours are 5:30am - 2:00pm.
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
- Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50-mile radius) will be considered.
