Overview

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Welder at their site in Worcester, MA. The role involves performing and setting up moderate to complex MIG/TIG and welding operations while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform and set up moderate to complex MIG/TIG and welding operations.
• Join surfaces or fabricate or repair metal structures or materials using various welding processes.
• Check completed parts for compliance with Worcester Plant Quality standards.
• Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations.
• Assist team in achieving plant and department goals.
• Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement.
• Foster an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals and encourages teamwork.
• Utilize basic computer knowledge of Windows based operating systems.
• Use measuring tape and variable gauges, such as calipers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
• An apprenticeship or equivalent training experience.
• Welding Certification.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• 1-3 years weld experience in light to medium industrial manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of basic shop math and welding symbols.
• Ability to read and understand formal, informal drawings, and/or engineering drawings.

Additional Information

• Core hours are 5:30am - 2:00pm.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
• Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50-mile radius) will be considered.
