Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder-automotive to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling automotive components with precision and efficiency while contributing to innovative automotive projects in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and <LOCATION> welding to assemble automotive parts and structures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to achieve precise dimensions and tolerances.
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and pipe threading tools to shape sheet metal and ductwork components.
  • Conduct rigging, machining, soldering, and assembly tasks following ASME codes & standards for safety and quality compliance.
  • Utilize forklift and crane operations for material handling and positioning during fabrication processes.
  • Follow construction site safety protocols when working on or near construction or manufacturing sites.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with construction site work and manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques; knowledge of <LOCATION> welding preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, fabrication processes, and assembly procedures.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and schematics for precise work.
  • Familiarity with plasma cutting, press brake machines, and sheet metal fabrication equipment.
  • Strong understanding of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.
  • Experience with rigging, machining operations, soldering, ductwork installation, and mechanical assembly.
  • Knowledge of construction safety protocols including crane operation and forklift handling.

  • Pay: $26.49 - $31.91 per hour.
