Overview
The Pipe Welder/Pipe Fitter position offers a pay rate of up to $42/hr for experienced welders, with benefits starting on the hire date, including medical, dental, life insurance, and more. The role involves pipe welding and fitting for stainless and carbon steel pipes, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform pipe welding and fitting for stainless and carbon steel pipes.
- Troubleshoot and repair process piping and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment within the facility.
- Read and interpret work orders, flow sheets, blueprint drawings, vendor specs, and/or P&ID’s.
- Perform all types of welding, brazing, and soldering repair, replacement, and installation.
- Use hand, power, and shop tools proficiently.
- Assist with process equipment assembly and installation.
- Conduct equipment diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
Requirements
- Proficient in TIG welding, MIG welding, and stick welding.
- Ability to complete data entry into the work order system.
- Must take 6G tests as part of the interview process.
