Overview

AIS is seeking a Fabricator Assistant to support factory projects through the fabrication of new items and the repair of existing ones. The role requires basic competency with hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate new items and repair existing ones.
• Use common power and hand tools.
• Operate fork trucks and scissor lifts.
• Work safely at heights.
• Handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Support the primary welder/fabricator as a team member.
• Learn new skills such as welding and advanced fabrication.
• Support various factory projects.

Requirements

• Basic competency with hand tools and common power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs comfortably.
• Demonstrated history of working safely around others.
• Spanish and English speaking is a plus.
• Willingness to work off-hours or weekends as needed.
