This is an opportunity to obtain a dynamic and rewarding career at the Philips Latham, New York site where magnetic resonance imaging magnets are manufactured. The role involves performing high quality TIG and MIG welds and fabricating intricate assemblies for cryogenic applications.

Responsibilities

• Complete high quality TIG and MIG welds using precision instruments.
• Perform cutting, bending, drilling, tapping, and similar operations to fabricate intricate assemblies.
• Read and understand drawings and supporting documents.

Requirements

• 1+ years of welding experience.
• Experience using mechanical assembly tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to create high quality TIG and MIG welds and perform vacuum leak tight TIG welds on aluminum.
• Experience operating bridge cranes and forklift trucks.
• Ability to read and write to follow documentation assembly procedures.

• This is an onsite role on 1st shift working Monday-Friday 7:20pm-3:30pm.
• Must reside in or within commuting distance to Latham, NY.
