Overview

Best-One is hiring an Auto Mechanic at their Madisonville location. With over 285 locations in 35 states, Best-One is a leading independent tire and service company focused on creating raving fans through exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Perform engine diagnostics and repairs.
• Conduct brake inspections and repairs.
• Handle alignments and steering repairs.
• Execute suspension repairs.
• Weld and fabricate as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance services.
• Maintain a clean shop environment.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Operate heavy-duty service trucks and tools for road service.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Repair trucks and trailers on-site for customers.
• Perform fleet inspections and maintain company vehicles to D.O.T. standards.
• Provide emergency road service for disabled trucks.
• Prepare on-site paperwork detailing services performed.
• Communicate fleet needs effectively with Service and Sales.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; driving record must meet company’s insurance requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with vehicle repairs.
• A Tech experience required.
• Positive attitude and ability to relate well with team members and customers.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing at least 50 lbs and perform physical activities such as pulling, pushing, bending, standing, lifting, reaching, and stooping.
