Overview

As an Allied Trade Specialist in the Army, you will supervise the fabrication, repair, and modification of metallic and nonmetallic parts to ensure reliable operation of equipment. This role involves operating various machine shop equipment and training in material selection and fabrication machine operation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the fabrication, repair, and modification of parts.
• Ensure the Army's equipment is operating reliably.
• Operate lathes, drilling presses, grinders, and welding machines.
• Train to select materials, tools, and equipment for jobs.
• Learn to operate fabrication machines.

Requirements

• Must be aged 17 to 34.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
