Responsibilities

• Fabricate production assisted devices and other production related items.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Problem solve and follow standardized practices and procedures.
• Read and interpret machine prints.
• Prepare metals, layout, cut, and fit materials for welding.
• Evaluate and interpret drawings and sketches for product preparation.
• Fabricate racks, railings, bins, and perform general maintenance work.
• Prepare parts using shear, break press, roller, band saw, drill, and punch press.
• Work with various types of metal using different welding methods.
• Weld in all positions on flat, vertical, and horizontal surfaces.
• Improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.
• Ensure and maintain welding equipment in good working order.
• Abide by company policies including health and safety, quality, and environmental systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and legislation.
