Overview

The Airport Lounge Cleaner (Appearance Care Associate) position involves performing a variety of cleaning duties to maintain the lounge operations at the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club in the Philadelphia International Airport. The role emphasizes guest satisfaction and compliance with sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and break rooms.
• Restock beverage stations.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
• Empty wastebaskets and recyclables and transport to disposal areas.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors in restrooms.
• Replenish restroom supplies and polish metalwork including fixtures and fittings.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, including scrubbing, waxing, and polishing as needed.
• Wash walls and woodwork, clean windows, door panels, partitions, and window sills.
• Notify supervisor of any maintenance repairs or additions needed.
• Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, equipment, and partitions.
• Stand during the entire scheduled shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the housekeeping/janitorial field.
• Ability to maintain a presentable and polished appearance in a best-in-class environment.
• Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced work shift up to ten hours.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
• Report on work regularly and timely.
• Adhere to all local and state health department guidelines.
• Able to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must pass and obtain security background check and clearance to work in the airport environment.
