Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components with precision and efficiency, contributing to critical infrastructure and building solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding operations using MIG, FCAW, TIG, and other techniques to join metals according to project specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute welding tasks.
  • Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting components using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards for pressure vessels, pipelines, and other welded structures.
  • Conduct quality inspections of welds using visual assessments, calipers, and other measurement tools; perform soldering and tube bending as needed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing facilities.
  • Assist in routine maintenance of welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance during projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of at least 2 years in welding within manufacturing or construction environments, with a strong focus on pipe welding and fire sprinkler fitting preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to read complex schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, pipeline installation, and assembly processes.
  • Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, schematics, and rigging equipment.
  • Experience working on construction sites or in industrial manufacturing settings is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to pressure vessels and pipelines is a plus.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations confidently.
