Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and efficiency, contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects while adhering to safety standards and quality expectations.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication and welding requirements.
- Perform MIG, FCAW, and other welding techniques to join metals accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and torches.
- Measure materials precisely using tape measures, squares, levels, and other measurement tools.
- Operate forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks.
- Fabricate custom parts by cutting, bending, assembling, and welding metal components according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Requirements
- Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background involving metal fabrication.
- Hands-on experience with MIG and FCAW welding processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and torches.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
