Overview

The Mig Welder position on the 2nd shift at Plant 1 involves performing various welding duties, including setting fixtures and MIG welding parts, with a pay rate of $20.59 to $22.09 plus a 10% shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Adjust locating rails and stops for assembly dimensions.
• Use assembly components as gauges and measure accurately.
• Place and clamp components into fixtures for welding.
• MIG weld joints and remove clamps for complete welding.
• Manually weld connectors and touch up auto-welded beams.
• Adjust wire feed, heat, and gas flow as needed.
• Use gas torch for cutting and heating parts.
• Obtain materials from storage and prepare for welding.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintain safety standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Mig welding experience or formal training.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Good attendance record.

Additional Information

• Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm to 2:00am.
• Mandatory overtime on Fridays and Saturdays based on business needs.
