Overview

The Welder/Fabricator creates, modifies, and repairs automotive drivetrain parts using various tools including welding and lathes. The role requires understanding specifications, reading blueprints, and physically handling materials.

Responsibilities

• Understand specifications and desired results.
• Read and understand blueprints and diagrams.
• Prepare and load materials onto the machine or table.
• Perform welding, grinding, and blending.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machines such as lathe and mill.
• Inspect and measure finished products against requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of welding experience.
• Machining experience.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• MIG/TIG welding experience on steel and aluminum.
• Good attention to detail and self-driven approach.
• Ability to maintain an organized work environment.
• Follow established safety procedures and policies.
