Overview

IKA Works, Inc. is looking to add a Welder to the team. This person will be responsible for performing all required welding, fabricating, polishing, and inspection of process and laboratory equipment components in compliance with ASTM standards.

Responsibilities

• Welding, fabricating, grinding, deburring, polishing and inspection of process/laboratory components and fixtures.
• Develop and utilize procedures for the welding, fabricating, grinding and polishing process components.
• Assist process assembly and machine shop when necessary.
• Utilize safe, proper setup and operation procedures for all tools and equipment used.
• Keep all tools, machinery, tooling and accessories clean, orderly and safe.
• Monitor raw material inventory levels.
• Record accurate information on weekly time tickets, inspection documents, material certification records and other required forms.

Requirements

• Five (5) years minimum hands-on experience in welding and polishing machined components and fabrications.
• ASTM Welding certifications required.

Additional Information

• This position works a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
