Overview

The Chief Mechanic - Building Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems at Bus Transit facilities under the direction of the Fleet and Facilities Manager. This role includes supervising mechanics and managing various shop equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and supervise mechanics in routine preventive maintenance.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Oversee shop equipment and automated fueling systems.
• Manage revenue fare collection equipment and passenger amenities.
• Ensure proper signage is maintained.
