Lyndon Steel Company is a leading structural steel fabricator that has been serving the industry since 1977, providing high-quality steel with competitive pricing and on-time delivery. The company operates over 250,000 square feet of fabrication facilities and produces over 50,000 tons of fabricated steel annually.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations using MIG welding processes
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately
- Assist Fitter in aligning parts according to blueprint drawings
- Set up welding equipment and maintain proper safety protocols
- Inspect materials and products to ensure quality standards are met
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work overtime
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Safety conscious
- Good attendance
- Ability to use steel hand working tools
- Previous welding experience (preferred)
- Ability to pass a welders certification test
- Have the ability to safely operate overhead cranes
- Knowledge of minor welding machine maintenance is helpful
- Knowledge of oxy/fuel torches and measuring devices, i.e. tapes, squares and levels

Additional Information
- Current hours are Monday through Friday 5:30am to 4:00pm, with the possibility of five (5) hours on Saturday morning.
- Sign-on bonus paid in two installments after 90 days of employment and at the 6-months mark.
