The Welding Teacher (.25 FTE) position involves working cooperatively with colleagues and students while demonstrating ethical behavior and following district policies. • Works cooperatively with colleagues, supervisors, and administrators.

• Supervises educational assistants and student teachers.
• Develops and uses community and professional resources.
• Understands and applies learning theories.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Good organizational ability.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
• Uses appropriate techniques and strategies to achieve instructional goals.
• Adapts the curriculum to meet individual student needs.
• Uses current technology for instruction and management.
• Uses diagnostic data to improve instructional programs.
• Maintains availability to parents, students, and administration outside school hours.
