Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machine to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machine setup and production requirements.
• Measure and inspect completed parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance on press brake machine to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process.
• Operate forklift to transport materials and finished products within the facility.
• Utilize CNC programming to control the press brake machine for precise bending operations.
• Assist with other manufacturing tasks such as welding, stamping press operation, tooling assembly, and laser cutting as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Strong knowledge of press brake machine operation and setup procedures.
• Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Experience with CNC programming is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with stamping press operation, tooling assembly, laser cutting, and GD&T principles is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
