Overview

St. Louis County Department of Transportation and Public Works is hiring a Building Systems Mechanic for their Building Maintenance team in Clayton, Missouri. This role involves performing mechanical and maintenance work at a journeyman level in various specialized areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support and repair for County facilities.
• Perform electrical maintenance, repair and installation work.
• Perform plumbing/pipefitting maintenance, repair and installation.
• Perform HVAC and mechanical maintenance, repair and installation.
• Perform custodial tasks associated with the care and cleaning of County facilities.
• Remove snow and ice.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• Graduation from Technical School or completion of a formal apprenticeship in a skilled building systems trade.
• At least three years of related experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• A current, valid driver's license is required.
