Overview

We are seeking skilled Specialty Pipe Welders with solid shipyard experience to join our Pascagoula team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of shipyard pipe welding experience and proven ability to weld copper-nickel piping systems to high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision pipe welding on a variety of metals with a focus on copper-nickel piping systems.
• Successfully pass a copper-nickel weld test as well as other required weld certifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with pipefitters and other trades to meet project deadlines and shipyard quality expectations.
• Follow OSHA, shipyard, and company safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of shipyard pipe welding experience.
• Demonstrated expertise welding copper-nickel materials.
• Ability to pass a copper-nickel weld test and other shipyard weld certifications.
• Strong blueprint reading skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in various positions (vertical, overhead, confined spaces) and lift up to 50 lbs.
