Overview

The QC - CWI position involves overseeing the Quality Control department's operations, implementing quality control processes, and leading a team of inspectors and welding professionals to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Quality Control department.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
  • Lead a team of QC inspectors and welding professionals to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform certified welding inspections according to industry codes and standards.
  • Verify and document welder qualifications and welding procedures.
  • Conduct visual inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and other quality control tests as required.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, regulations, and customer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, tests, and certifications.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to welding personnel to improve skills and promote a culture of quality.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in welding technology and inspection techniques.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on quality control procedures and standards.
