Responsibilities

• Operate power tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
• Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Ensure compliance with welding codes and standards.
• Conduct inspections to identify defects or imperfections in welded components.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a fabricator/welder in a manufacturing or construction setting.
• Proficient in soldering, machining, and assembling metal components.
• Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in metal fabrication.
• Knowledge of ductwork fabrication and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience with pipe threading is a plus.
• Strong welding skills using various techniques (MIG, TIG, stick).
• Understanding of welding codes and standards.
