Overview

Chelten House Products, Inc. is a fourth-generation, family-owned food industry manufacturer known for its commitment to quality in producing pasta sauces, salad dressings, and other blends. The Welding Technician role involves high-quality TIG welding fabrication and repairs in a food safety environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality TIG welding fabrication and repairs on steel tubing, piping, and tanks.
• Read blueprints and diagrams for equipment assembly.
• Ensure all welds meet food safety guidelines and regulations.
• Complete work order tickets and identify repairs.
• Utilize Excel to track and record all work orders and statuses.
• Work closely with Quality and Food Safety departments.
• Visually inspect and use specialized tools to test all finished work to standard.
• Follow GMP and 5S in all work areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or technical school certificate.
• Expertise in TIG welding, preferably within a food or beverage processing plant (3+ years).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work alone and manage time to finish tasks in an orderly fashion.
• Ability to work Thursday to Monday on the 1st shift, with overtime as needed.
