Responsibilities
- Perform heavy structural MIG welding on steel for new builds and repair work up to 1 1/2 inch thickness.
- Complete TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum with strong appearance and production quality.
- Use plasma and torch cutting equipment for fabrication projects.
- Interpret project needs through conversations and translate them into finished products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Shift between projects and priorities to meet critical deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members while contributing your own expertise and ideas.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of fabrication experience.
- Strong MIG welding skills required, specifically in heavy structural applications.
- TIG and stick welding experience preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to build and fabricate, not just perform repetitive or production welding.
- Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and blueprint interpretation.
- Experience with plasma cutting and torch work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to commute to Valley, NE 68064.
- Willingness to undergo an informal welding test/skills verification is required.
- Drug screening required.
