Overview

Hanson Sign Companies is a Western New York manufacturing and production facility that designs and builds custom commercial signage for major brands across the United States. They are looking for a candidate to join their welding/fabrication department.

Responsibilities

• Production assembly and fabrication of custom sign products
• Welding work including building custom signage from raw materials
• Use of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Quality control inspections to ensure products meet specifications
• Following OSHA safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area

Requirements

• Welding experience is a must
• Experience as a production worker, manufacturing associate, carpenter, fabricator, or warehouse worker preferred
• Strong carpentry skills (measuring, cutting, fastening, metal fabrication)
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools (saws, drills, etc.)
• Ability to read blueprints or production instructions
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
