Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding on various materials.
• Support the assembly and fabrication of equipment with a focus on precision and safety.
• Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and general arrangement drawings.
• Assemble, lay out, and fit components for welding and fabrication.
• Perform TIG welding with purge techniques on stainless steel, carbon steel piping, and hydraulic lines.
• Produce full-penetration welds suitable for sanitary environments.
• Silver braze and/or solder copper refrigeration lines.
• Operate or learn to operate computer-controlled orbital welding equipment.
• Use a variety of machine tools and metal fabrication equipment safely and competently.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces, and perform tasks requiring bending, climbing, or lifting up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and self-motivation.
• Proven experience with TIG welding and purge techniques.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a job shop environment.
• Commitment to safety and precision in a regulated production environment.
