North Wasco County School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of High School CTE Teacher-Welding and Fabrication for the 26'-27' school year. The district is committed to providing the best education possible for the children of the community.
Responsibilities
- Develop students’ academic and interpersonal skills through approved curriculum.
- Document teaching and student progress, activities, and outcomes.
- Address specific educational needs of students.
- Provide a safe and optimal learning environment.
- Provide feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding student progress.
- Prepare daily lesson plans aligned with district standards.
- Communicate course goals and academic expectations to students.
- Maintain appropriate records of student performance.
- Model personal behaviors of honesty, fairness, and respect.
- Participate in professional growth and development activities.
Requirements
- BA/BS or higher degree with a major in relevant educational areas.
- Valid Oregon Teaching License and endorsement(s).
- Eligible for Career and Technical Teaching licensure.
- Must hold a current recognized first aid card or be willing to obtain one.
- Skills to motivate students and communicate with diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching methods and state curriculum framework.
