Responsibilities
- Prepare, clean, braze, and weld aircraft-related components and assemblies.
- Complete precision welding using TIG, MIG, oxy-fuel, and approved aerospace welding methods.
- Build and modify tooling, fixtures, and fabricated metal parts.
- Interpret engineering drawings, maintenance documentation, work instructions, and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate repair and inspection records in accordance with aviation requirements.
- Assist with inventory and procurement of welding materials and shop supplies.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with aircraft, turbine, or other high-tolerance components required.
- Ability to pass and maintain aerospace welding certifications.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a production/shop environment.
- Open to overtime, weekend work, and occasional travel when needed.
