Overview

Tyler Junior College is seeking a Professor of Welding to provide classroom instruction and college service, ensuring a commitment to excellence in teaching and student success. The position is on-site in Tyler, Texas, and applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in welding or equivalent industry certifications.
  • Demonstrated competencies in welding.
  • Extensive work history may qualify experienced welders without formal credentials.
  • Participation in mentorship and educational leadership training during the first year.
