Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding on stainless, aluminum, and mild steel.
• Prep, fit, and assemble parts prior to welding.
• Inspect welds for accuracy and consistency.
• Increase welding production by setting pace, improving flow, and supporting team efficiency.
• Coach and support welders to improve speed, quality, and consistency.
• Assist the Foreman with workflow planning and production priorities.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area.
• Support communication with future Spanish-speaking hires if bilingual.
• Help recruit quality welders and support their onboarding.

Requirements

• Welding experience required.
• Ability to pass Bow Creek Metal’s welding test.
• Proven ability to work fast while maintaining high quality.
• Demonstrated leadership traits: initiative, accountability, problem-solving.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to cross-train.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus, not required.

Additional Information

• Schedule: Mon–Thurs: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Fridays optional overtime.
