Overview

CDI custom curb adapters is the nation’s fastest curb manufacturer in the HVAC industry, with manufacturing facilities located in multiple cities. They are seeking a skilled and certified Welder to perform welding and fabrication tasks to ensure the structural integrity and quality of their manufactured goods.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding of metal components and assemblies using MIG welding techniques according to blueprints and work orders.
• Prepare materials for welding, including grinding, cutting, fitting, and positioning parts for proper alignment.
• Conduct in-process visual inspection of welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience (1+ year preferred) as a Welder in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency in MIG welding is required; knowledge of TIG or Flux-Cored is a plus.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, symbols, and basic weld procedures.
• Current or previous welding certification (e.g., AWS) is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on occasion.
